Renegade Success Network: Spring Discernment Practice
Before the Next Decision: A 12-Week Leadership Practice
Renegade Success Network
March 9 – May 29
Limited to 12 leaders
A structured space for nonprofit leaders to reduce decision fatigue and practice clarity together.
Every nonprofit leader carries more decisions than they should.
Staff questions.
Board expectations.
Funding pressures.
Program trade-offs.
Conversations that linger long after they end.
Most leaders don’t lack insight.
They lack the space to think before the next decision arrives.
And when space disappears, something subtle happens:
We stop discerning and start reacting.
We replay conversations.
We second-guess.
We rush to relieve pressure.
Over time, that mental noise becomes exhausting.
This 12-week practice exists to interrupt that cycle.
Not with advice.
Not with productivity systems.
But with structure, rhythm, and protected space.
What This Practice Is
Before the Next Decision is a small, intentional container where nonprofit leaders practice finding clarity together.
Inside this 12-week arc:
-
We slow down real leadership situations before they harden into reaction.
-
We notice where judgment creeps in.
-
We separate urgency from priority.
-
We practice leading conversations with steadiness instead of speed.
You won’t be told what to do.
You’ll learn how to notice earlier.
That’s where clarity lives.
What the 12 Weeks Include:
1. Six Bi-Weekly Live Sessions
75 minutes every other week. Scheduled meeting dates: March 12, 26; April 9, 23 & May 7, 21
These sessions are not updates or hot seats.
Each gathering:
-
Works through one real leadership tension
-
Models discernment in real time
-
Teaches how to catch judgment before it becomes direction
-
Helps you leave clearer than you arrived
Small group.
Intentional pace.
No performance required.
Sessions will be recorded, if you are unable to attend.
2. Weekly Grounding Rhythm
Between sessions, you’ll receive:
-
A short Monday framing reflection
-
A small real-world action experiment
-
A Friday pause to notice what shifted
The rhythm is designed to reduce cognitive load — not add to it.
If it feels like more pressure, we adjust.
Why This Isn’t a Mastermind
This isn’t about brainstorming solutions.
It’s about building the capacity to decide with steadiness.
Discernment practiced alone often collapses into rumination and judgement.
Practiced together, it strengthens.
You’ll leave with:
-
Fewer reactive moments
-
Clearer conversations
-
Less mental replay
-
More confidence in your next decision
Who This Is For
This practice is for nonprofit leaders who:
-
Feel decision fatigue but rarely name it
-
Want clarity without urgency
-
Value reflection but struggle to protect time for it
-
Are ready to lead with steadiness instead of speed
If you’re looking for loud strategies or fast fixes, this won’t be the right fit.
If you’re looking for relief and clarity inside real leadership life, you’re welcome here.
